About Us. CJC inspires and recognizes exemplary reporting on children and families. Since 1993, thousands of print, broadcast and online journalists have attended our intensive training programs and relied on us for balanced information and resources.
The Journalism Center is a nonprofit program of the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland, College Park. The Journalism Center is funded by the Annie E. Casey Foundation, Freddie Mac Foundation, McCormick Tribune Foundation and individual donors.
