Individual giving is an important part of the Journalism Center's financial future. All gifts are 100 percent tax-deductible and can be given at anytime. You can give in honor of a loved one, in memory of someone special, or simply because you'd like to support the work of journalists who cover the issues of children, youth and families.
Funds raised go right to the journalists who use our resources. Whether it's one-on-one assistance, Web resources or training, the Journalism Center returns your investment.
As newsrooms endure drastic budget cuts, downsizing and a shift in the way we cover news, demand for the center’s services has reached record levels. At the same time many stories – especially those covering vulnerable children, youth, and families – risk going untold. That’s where the Journalism Center on Children & Families comes in.
We are devoted to expanding and improving the media coverage of critical social issues that affect children, youth and families. Since 1993, more than 14,000 journalists have turned to us for our exceptional training programs, balanced sources, unbiased information and recognition through the prestigious Casey Medals and America's Promise Journalism Awards. With your support, we can continue to support these journalists when they need it most.
