Investing in the Journalism Center
Why we need your help
As newsrooms transition to more online news and multimedia packaging, the Journalism Center is developing new services to stay ahead of shifting training demands. Those innovations require new investments.
A nonprofit program of the University of Maryland's Philip Merrill College of Journalism, the Journalism Center has enjoyed continous support from our founding funder, the Annie E. Casey Foundation. We have also received funds from the David and Lucile Packard Foundation and, most recently, the McCormick Foundation, Challenge Fund for Journalism, Ms. Foundation and Freddie Mac Foundation. Now we are asking for support from individual donors who believe that strong journalism is essential to strong communities.
