The report highlights the broad range of innovations, emerging and established trends in local efforts to promote child and family well-being. Its policy topics include quality child care and pre-kindergarten, afterschool programs, community wellness, parenting, youth aging out of foster care, youth violence prevention and family economic success.
The report was unveiled before more than 350 municipal leaders and community partners at the 2009 National Summit on Your City's Families, held October 13, 2009.
